Civil Aeronautics Board

The Board has supervisory and jurisdictional control over air carriers, general sales agents, cargo sales agents, and airfreight forwarders, as well as their property, property rights, equipment, facilities and franchises.

Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines

Formerly Air Transportation Office, it is a government-owned and controlled corporation attached to the Department of Transportation for the purpose of policy coordination.

Department of Trade and Industry

Executive department of the Philippine Government tasked as the main economic catalyst that enables innovative, competitive, job generating, inclusive business, and empowers consumers.

Philippine Economic Zone Authority

Created to help promote investments in the export-oriented manufacturing industry into the country by assisting investors in registering and facilitating their business operations and providing tax incentives.

Philippine Ports Authority

Government-owned corporation under the Department of Transportation and Communications as an attached agency. It is responsible for financing, management and operations of public ports throughout the Philippines.

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority

The agency has played a significant part in the development of the Subic Bay Freeport and the Special Economic Zone into a self-sustainable area that promotes the industrial, commercial, investment, and financial areas of trade in the zone as well as in the country of the Philippines itself.

Philippine Shipper's Bureau

Philippine Shippers Bureau (PSB) is an agency under the Department of Trade and Industry that implements the reservation of government cargoes for import and export to Philippine flag vessels through its freight booking consolidation Center.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing some 275 airlines or 83% of total air traffic. We support many areas of aviation activity and help formulate industry policy on critical aviation issues.


The Aircargo Forwarders Association of the Philippines, Inc. (AFPI) is an association duly established in 1980 for airfreight forwarders. It is the only organization endorsed by the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) to Philippine airfreight forwarders.
